Georgia Public Health Data Manager

Job Summary

Leading the design and management of data collection and reporting systems, the full-time Georgia Public Health Data Manager will oversee performance monitoring activities for a statewide grant program while working in a hybrid environment from Atlanta, GA, or remotely within the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain centralized data collection and reporting systems to support programmatic needs
• Compile and analyze programmatic data for compliance with state and federal reporting requirements
• Supervise data and reporting staff while developing standard operating procedures and training materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, biostatistics, data science, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management and performance monitoring, with at least 5 years in data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in data management and analysis of complex datasets
• Experience in designing data collection systems and developing dashboards for diverse audiences
• Strong project management skills, including managing multiple reporting deadlines and deliverables
