Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Geothermal Drilling Engineer, the full-time position will manage a variety of drilling projects, including exploratory drilling and geothermal well design, while ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, with the opportunity to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the complete life cycle of drilling projects from proposal development to execution, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Develop and manage drilling programs, including well design, casing design, and cost estimation while coordinating with service providers
- Provide consulting on drilling engineering, focusing on exploratory drilling, solution-mining, and compliance monitoring
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum, geological, or mining engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of drilling engineering experience, including geothermal drilling program design
- Strong technical background in well design and drilling program development
- Prior experience with Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) preparation and cost tracking
- Professional license or the ability to achieve one is preferred
