Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the remote full-time GIS Manager will build, lead, and develop a centralized team of GIS Analysts and Data Analysts while enhancing GIS capabilities for Cultural Resource Management and other engineering services.
Key responsibilities
- Assess GIS and analytical capability needs and recommend technologies and practices
- Build and develop a high-performing GIS and data team through recruitment, mentoring, and performance development
- Plan and coordinate GIS support for projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and deliverables
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, environmental science, engineering, computer science, or related field with 10 years of related experience, or 14 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and MS Office
- Familiarity with relational database management systems and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history may be required
