GIS Specialist - NC Licensed
Job Summary
To support a long-term remote project, the mid-level GIS Specialist - NC Licensed will manage ArcGIS platform administration, user management, and assist with accessibility compliance while engaging with both GIS and non-GIS users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the accessibility working group to implement WCAG-aligned updates for compliance and usability
- Design Experience Builder applications to enhance GIS tool accessibility and facilitate geospatial data interaction
- Maintain the GO!NC ArcGIS Online environment by administering user accounts and developing user guides for platform adoption
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Online and Enterprise administration
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro and publishing hosted services
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL scripting
- Experience with Survey123, Field Maps, and Experience Builder
- Understanding of accessibility requirements and WCAG standards
