Job Summary
To support a critical security and compliance initiative, the full-time remote GitLab Administrator will manage the migration of service accounts to GitLab native service accounts, ensuring secure decommissioning of old access and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manually migrate existing service accounts to GitLab native service accounts, ensuring secure credential handling
- Update and replicate permissions, group access, and project access for all migrated automation identities
- Debug and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and integrations impacted by service credential changes during migration
Required qualifications
- Mid- to senior-level experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with GitLab administration and permissions management
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated tooling
- Experience with rotating or replacing credentials and securely decommissioning legacy access
- Prior experience migrating service accounts or identity access management (IAM) configurations
