GL Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the Finance and Accounting organization, the full-time GL Accountant will manage general ledger accounting and financial close activities, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses, while ensuring compliance with European VAT accounting and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries as part of the monthly and quarterly close
• Support timely and accurate financial reporting and perform month-end variance analysis
• Collaborate with Finance team members to resolve accounting issues and improve processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of four years of accounting or finance experience, with a focus on general ledger and month-end close
• Working knowledge of IFRS and European VAT accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems
• Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) tools is preferred
