Global Director of General Ledger
Job Summary
Leading the global Record-to-Report process, the full-time remote Global Director of General Ledger will manage monthly and year-end closes, establish GL policies, and provide technical accounting expertise while ensuring accurate financial reporting across all legal entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the global Record-to-Report process, including close calendar management and journal entry standards
- Establish global GL policies, procedures, and quality review routines
- Lead monthly and annual close execution, ensuring deadlines and reporting dependencies are met
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent preferred
- 8+ years of accounting experience in a multi-entity or multi-country environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with complex transactions
- Experience with ERP systems and internal controls preferred
