Global Financial Planner

Job Summary

To support the expansion of financial wellness services, the contract Global Financial Planner will provide personalized financial guidance to Northstar members through text-based chat and video calls, working remotely and focusing on building customized financial plans and empowering members to maximize their employer benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Northstar Planning Leadership to develop country-specific advice strategies and launch services in Costa Rica
• Build customized financial plans and provide actionable guidance to enhance members' financial health
• Educate members on maximizing their employer benefits and support them through various communication channels

Required qualifications

• Internationally recognized financial planning or advisory designation (e.g., CFA, CFP, ChFC) with active local licensing as a strong plus
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Experience in multiple areas of personal finance, including retirement, investments, and budgeting
• Proficiency in financial planning software and adaptability to proprietary tools
• Demonstrated track record of providing comprehensive financial plans in a fiduciary capacity
