Global Health Researcher

Job Summary

To support impactful philanthropic efforts, the fully remote Global Health Researcher will conduct rigorous evaluations of high-impact funding opportunities, investigate potential interventions, and present findings to donors, while contributing to the strategic direction of charitable giving in global health and development.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake research investigations and literature reviews to answer key questions related to funding opportunities
• Conduct individual investigations into promising funding opportunities and contribute to internal and external reports
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate funding for identified opportunities

Required qualifications

• Domain expertise in development economics, public health, or cost-effectiveness analysis, with consideration for transferable skills from other fields
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to express views numerically and build quantitative models
• Proficient in clear writing, capable of conveying complex concepts succinctly
• Open-ended research skills to identify high-impact funding opportunities in new cause areas
• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to engage with diverse perspectives and adapt based on evidence
