Job Summary
To optimize inventory and enhance customer service levels, the remote Global Network Planner will manage supply chain processes related to product availability, coordinate with various departments, and lead process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with Distribution Centers, Production, Customer Service, and Sales to improve service
- Oversee requirements planning and stocking in Distribution Centers while releasing daily orders for intercompany suppliers
- Monitor backorders and implement actions to address customer-specific requirements using the logistics network
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of Supply Chain experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of Supply Chain experience
- 3+ years of experience with ERP systems and/or SAP or Oracle
- ASCM CPIM/CSCP Certification preferred
- Strong background in Supply Chain Planning
- Solid analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
