Global Payroll Director

Job Summary

To support a growing global organization, the remote Global Payroll Director will manage the strategy, governance, and operational effectiveness of the company's payroll function, ensuring compliance and accuracy across multiple countries while leading regional payroll teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee payroll delivery across all regions, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments
• Lead payroll technology and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 10+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience with significant leadership roles
• Experience overseeing payroll for the United States, Canada, and other international countries
• Strong knowledge of payroll operations, compliance, and related HR processes
• Demonstrated experience managing external payroll providers and complex vendor relationships
