Job Summary

Leading multiple accounting teams, the full-time Global Property Accounting Controller will provide strategic oversight for property accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for complex commercial real estate portfolios while fostering strong client relationships and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting for large commercial real estate portfolios
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and client requirements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing financial expertise and strategic guidance on accounting matters

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive commercial real estate or property accounting experience, including team leadership
• Significant experience in commercial real estate accounting and portfolio financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP and real estate accounting platforms such as Yardi, MRI, or SAP
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes
