Global Sanctions Manager

Job Summary

As a Global Sanctions Manager, the full-time remote position will manage complex sanctions compliance initiatives, serve as a subject matter expert, and oversee sanctions controls while collaborating with various teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Sanctions Subject Matter Expert, handling complex sanctions matches and investigations
• Own and maintain Global Sanctions procedures, providing oversight of sanctions controls implemented by first-line teams
• Compile management information and develop dashboards to track the effectiveness of the sanctions compliance program

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in fintech, payments, or large financial institutions specializing in sanctions
• Demonstrated understanding of US sanctions and industry best practices related to economic sanctions
• Experience operationalizing sanctions controls in collaboration with technological teams
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
