Global Scientific Director - Liver Disease
Job Summary
Reporting to the Global Medical Affairs Lead, the full-time Global Scientific Director - Liver Disease will manage scientific and clinical research initiatives, develop strategies for adult hepatology programs, and oversee compassionate use programs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with functional groups to support clinical trials and scientific affairs for adult hepatology programs
- Drive scientific communications and support advisory boards related to adult liver disease indications
- Lead compassionate use and expanded access programs while overseeing internal and external research activities
Required qualifications
- Medical Doctor degree required
- 3+ years of industry experience with a preference for HDV, PSC, and/or PBC experience
- Experience in scientific publications and congress activities
- Strong background in clinical development and/or medical affairs
- GI/Hepatology experience strongly preferred
