Job Summary
To support a growing trading-card platform, the full-time Go Backend Developer will build and enhance backend services and APIs, collaborating closely with the engineering team in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and improve backend services in Go for collector-facing products
- Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs, ensuring clear contracts with mobile and frontend teams
- Design relational data models and write efficient SQL for database changes
Required qualifications:
- 5-7 years of backend development experience with a focus on production systems or significant side projects
- Proficiency in Go, including error handling, interfaces, and concurrency
- Experience building or maintaining APIs, with GraphQL familiarity being a plus
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL, including schema design and transactions
- Familiarity with the trading-card or collector community, demonstrating genuine interest and knowledge in the space
