Governance Risk Compliance Engineer
Job Summary
To elevate security certification processes, the full-time Governance Risk Compliance Engineer will manage the lifecycle of security certifications, including planning, execution, and improvement, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and improvement of security certifications such as ISO27001 and SOC2
- Define and implement compliance and audit processes, continuously enhancing certification workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline certification efforts and manage audit onboarding and preparation
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in developing and operating certification onboarding programs
- Strong knowledge of global and regional regulations (EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM, NAM)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Compliance, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience with cloud security providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud compliance
