Government Contract Specialist
Job Summary
Providing contract leadership and expertise, the full-time remote Government Contract Specialist will oversee program property management, lead contract negotiations, and manage risk processes during the Inquiry-to-Order phase for government and commercial projects in the Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and ensure compliance with contract reviews and matrices
- Manage complex contract negotiations and provide guidance on contractual queries during execution
- Establish and maintain compliance records in the government property tracking system and coordinate audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or high school diploma/equivalent with 10 years of related experience
- 10+ years of experience in government and commercial contract formation and execution
- Expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and various contract types
- Experience administering a FAR 52.245 compliant government property management system
- Professional certification by NCMA, NPMA, or relevant government contract organizations is preferred
