Job Summary
Providing integral support to the Controller and Director of FP&A, the full-time Government Cost Accountant will manage cost accounting structures in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring compliance and accuracy in labor and cost data while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and reconciliation of the company's indirect cost pools in Costpoint, including monthly and year-end calculations of actual indirect rates
- Assist in maintaining the Costpoint organization structure to ensure accurate cost posting and evaluate the impact of any proposed changes
- Prepare data for the annual Incurred Cost Submission and support DCAA audits by gathering necessary documentation and schedules
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of cost accounting experience in a government contracting environment
- Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, including indirect cost pool reconciliation
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 31 cost principles and applicable Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
