Job Summary
To support a U.S. government training simulator contract, the remote Government Technical Report Writer will develop three technical reports from engineering data and existing documentation, ensuring compliance with Army/DoD requirements while collaborating with mechanical engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop three technical reports using engineering data and subject matter expert input
- Prepare Safety Assessment and Health Hazard Assessment documentation as required
- Translate complex engineering information into clear, structured reports
Required qualifications
- Professional technical-writing experience
- Government or defense-contract documentation experience
- U.S. Army technical-writing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Safety Assessment Reports and Health Hazard Assessment Reports
- Ability to synthesize engineering data into polished documentation
