Graduate Research Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting applied policy research, the part-time Graduate Research Assistant will conduct data management and statistical analysis using large economic data sets while collaborating with the Center for New York City Affairs on various research projects.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct data management and descriptive statistical analysis using large economic data sets
- Review and synthesize concepts and analyses from academic journal articles and relevant research
- Prepare written findings and presentations for diverse audiences, including nonprofit leaders and public officials
Required qualifications
- Graduate student in the social sciences
- Experience using R, Stata, SPSS, or SAS
- Experience working with ACS and/or CPS microdata
