Grant Analyst

Job Summary

Managing the financial operations of a portfolio of grants and contracts for sponsored research, the full-time remote Grant Analyst will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance while collaborating with Principal Investigators and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets, perform financial analysis, and present recommendations based on data analysis
• Coordinate proposal development and ensure compliance with sponsor regulations and university policies
• Manage multiple awards, advising Principal Investigators on financial issues and overseeing grant renewals and closeouts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or a related field
• Two years of related financial experience, including managing post-award grants and contracts
• Strong financial and analytical skills with demonstrated application of financial and accounting concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures, particularly in academic or medical research settings
