Grants Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Grants Consultant will assess funding program fit, consult with clients on grant proposal development, and conduct grantsmanship training for higher education clients engaged in scientific research.
Key responsibilities
- Review and revise STEM- and health science-focused proposal narratives to enhance competitiveness
- Collaborate with clients to develop strong grant proposals from conception to submission
- Provide professional consultative services throughout the grant writing process
Required qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in reviewing, revising, and consulting on proposals for federal research funding
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM-related discipline; Ph.D. preferred
- Experience writing for a scientific audience and facilitating team training
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with LaTeX/Overleaf software tools is preferred
