Job Summary
Providing expert grant support services, the full-time Grants Consultant will work remotely to assist higher education clients in developing competitive proposals, revising narratives, and conducting grantsmanship trainings focused on scientific research.
Key responsibilities
- Review and revise STEM- and health science-focused proposal narratives to enhance competitiveness
- Collaborate with clients to create strong grant proposals from conception to submission
- Conduct grantsmanship trainings in both web-based and in-person settings
Required qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in reviewing and consulting on proposals to federal agencies funding investigator-initiated research
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM-related discipline preferred; Ph.D. is a plus
- Experience writing and researching for a scientific audience
- Strong interest in prospect research and fundraising strategy
- Familiarity with LaTeX/Overleaf software tools is preferred
