Graphic Design Specialist
Job Summary
To support the VHA Strategic Planning Division, the full-time Graphic Design Specialist will create visual concepts and communications products, including social media graphics and briefing materials, while ensuring compliance with Executive-Ready Standards and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design and produce communications products for various healthcare pilots, including social media content and one-pagers
- Translate complex program information into visually appealing dashboards and briefing materials for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Review all deliverables for accessibility compliance and maintain brand consistency across all products
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in creating visual concepts and communications products
- Portfolio of work demonstrating layout and production experience
- Experience with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
