Graphic Designer

Job Summary

Producing creative and visually compelling graphics, the full-time project-based Daily Artist will support editorial content for various Fox News Media platforms while thriving in a fast-paced news environment.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill quick-turnaround requests for charts, maps, logos, and custom topical images based on show needs
• Design engaging key art and build toolkits for OTT platforms, including typesetting and proofreading text-based artwork
• Animate full-screen graphics and collaborate with management and editorial teams to effectively tell stories through design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Communication preferred, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, with experience in a live TV or OTT environment
• Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory
• Ability to manage a high volume of graphic requests while adhering to design standards
• Knowledge of current design trends and familiarity with Ross XPression Maps and Google Maps is strongly recommended
