Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Graphic Designer will produce accessible materials for the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Minority Health, focusing on plain-language communications and graphic design to empower limited English proficiency communities.
Key responsibilities
- Support plain-language communications and accessibility outreach across various platforms and formats
- Design infographics and graphics for HHS OMH materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
- Provide graphic design support for fact sheets, posters, brochures, and similar materials while managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
- At least three years of experience in graphic design and/or PDF layout support, preferably in public health or government settings
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, with three years of professional experience
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Eligibility for an HHS Public Trust security clearance
