Grid Interconnection Manager

Job Summary

Commercially and operationally driven, the full-time Grid Interconnection Manager will negotiate grid access agreements, manage the power delivery timeline, and ensure compliance with contracts for data center projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the pathway to power for new sites by understanding connection processes and technical criteria
• Lead negotiations of grid connection agreements and translate utility contracts into operational realities
• Own the master timeline for power delivery, coordinating tasks among local Project Managers and ensuring milestone adherence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, electrical engineering, project management, or an energy-related discipline
• Demonstrable experience in energy procurement, utility relations, or infrastructure project management
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with a meticulous process management approach
• Ability to read and interpret complex grid connection contracts
• Proven track record of effective cross-functional teamwork and relationship building
