Group Rating Analyst

Job Summary

Executing the rating and underwriting of employer groups, the full-time Group Rating Analyst will perform production rating, quality checks, and support contract facilitation while working remotely or onsite in Kansas or Missouri.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production rating for self-funded and fully insured employer groups, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines
• Assist in quality checking processes to maintain consistency and accuracy in ratings
• Support the development and pricing of associations while maintaining compliance with rating methodologies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in group rating, underwriting, or a related analytical role within health insurance required
• Experience supporting sales or broker relationships in an underwriting or pricing capacity preferred
• Familiarity with different funding arrangements, including self-funded and level-funded plans, is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and underwriting systems
