Hadoop Spark Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Hadoop Spark Developer will design, develop, and manage systems for large data storage and operations, while collaborating with IT teams to ensure programming standards and system specifications are met.
Key responsibilities
- Write and enhance code for moderately complex system designs and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Review code developed by peers and provide input on programming standards
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and document migration requirements throughout the Product Development life cycle
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding within the IT industry
- Proficiency in Hadoop and Spark, along with experience in multiple object-oriented programming languages
- Thorough knowledge of the systems development life cycle and change management procedures
- Experience using versioning tools and debugging tools
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and adapt to rapidly changing environments
