Hardware Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Hardware Compliance Analyst will manage certification requirements for Samsara hardware, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with engineering teams and OEM partners.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate compliance assessments and audits with engineering and program management teams for OEM commercial vehicle partners
- Translate compliance requirements into actionable engineering solutions in collaboration with the Application Security team
- Research compliance gaps and propose solutions while communicating risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant compliance or engineering experience
- Experience with carrier or cellular per-device certification for public-safety networks
- Hands-on experience with ISO 21434 processes related to cybersecurity
- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity fundamentals and compliance requirements
- Ability to communicate risk clearly and propose solutions with trade-off reasoning
