Hardware Configuration Specialist
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and process-driven, the part-time Hardware Deployment & Configuration Specialist will manage the preparation, configuration, and quality control of payment terminals and POS hardware for merchant deployment, ensuring devices are properly RKI'd, tested, and shipped accurately in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform Remote Key Injection (RKI) on payment terminals and related devices
- Configure devices according to merchant file builds and deployment specifications
- Test hardware and payment functionality to confirm readiness
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in hardware configuration, payments, POS systems, or technical operations preferred
- Experience with payment terminals and POS hardware strongly preferred
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to follow structured workflows
- Comfortable working with technical systems and configuration tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
