Job Summary
Supporting the installation and maintenance of KeyStone servers, the fully remote Hardware Specialist will manage complex hardware and software systems, provide troubleshooting assistance, and contribute to special projects while ensuring system efficiency and integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Perform installation and support for KeyStone servers, including Unix/Linux operating systems and applications software
- Assist internal staff and clients with troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and network connectivity issues related to KeyStone
- Create and maintain departmental process and policy documentation using Atlassian and Microsoft products
Required qualifications
- Three to five years of related experience in hardware and software support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge through education and experience is desired
- Experience with network and system hardware and software, including virtualized environments (IBM or VMWare)
- Familiarity with encryption, Certificates, and VPN connectivity
- Ability to participate in special projects involving server replacements, migrations, and moves
