HCS-D Certified Coding Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, the HCS-D Certified Coding Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing OASIS and ICD-10 coding for home health and hospice agencies as needed, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of results and workflow processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review OASIS documentation and recommend changes in the approved system
• Analyze ICD-10 coding and sequencing from patient chart documentation
• Document review results and ensure compliance with chart equivalent targets and quality metrics

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in medical coding or OASIS review work
• HCS-D certification
• HCS-O or COS-C certification
• Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
