Head of Accounting

Job Summary

Leading accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of e-commerce and manufacturing entities, the full-time remote Head of Accounting will manage core processes including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and vendor management while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance accounting operations across e-commerce and manufacturing divisions
• Design and implement robust processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fraud prevention
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
• 8+ years of accounting leadership experience, particularly in e-commerce and manufacturing sectors
• Proven expertise in IFRS or U.S. GAAP accounting standards
• Experience in developing accounting policies and internal controls
• Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
