Head of CNS Development

Job Summary

To support a leading global clinical research organization, the fully remote Head of CNS Therapeutic Development will provide strategic oversight for a growing CNS portfolio, drive therapeutic-area growth, and partner with senior leaders to expand global clinical development programs.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for a global CNS portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and long-term growth objectives
• Partner with business development and executive stakeholders to shape bid strategies and strengthen key sponsor relationships
• Lead and mentor Portfolio Directors and project leaders while managing financial performance and organizational growth initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline
• 15+ years of clinical research experience with extensive expertise in CNS drug development and at least 10 years of leadership experience
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale, international clinical development portfolios within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment
• Strong commercial and business development experience, including proposal strategy and executive-level stakeholder management
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical trial execution, drug development processes, and regulatory requirements
