Job Summary
To drive therapeutic-area growth and oversee portfolio performance, the fully remote Head of CNS Therapeutic Development will provide strategic leadership for a global CNS portfolio, partner with business development initiatives, and mentor senior project leaders.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for a global CNS portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and long-term business growth
- Collaborate with business development and executive stakeholders to shape bid strategies and strengthen sponsor relationships
- Maintain accountability for portfolio financial performance, including forecasting, profitability, and key performance metrics
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, or a related field
- 15+ years of clinical research experience with expertise in CNS drug development and at least 10 years in leadership roles
- Proven success in leading international clinical development portfolios within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment
- Strong commercial and business development experience, including client engagement and executive-level stakeholder management
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical trial execution, drug development processes, and regulatory requirements
