Job Summary

To establish a strong media presence and influence, the full-time Head of Communications will manage corporate communications, public relations, and policy-driven storytelling in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy and editorial calendar to enhance media coverage
• Build a public relations program that secures placements in major media outlets and leverages data for storytelling
• Collaborate with the Public Affairs team to organize Congressional events and ensure client stories shape policy discussions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in communications, particularly in policy-adjacent environments
• Proven track record of securing earned media through data-driven insights
• Experience in organizing Congressional events and navigating policy narratives
• Strong writing and editing skills across various formats
• Understanding of government affairs and the ability to build relationships in Washington, D.C
