Head of Compliance

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time Head of Compliance will manage regulatory compliance, oversee coding and billing audits, and develop policies to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with PC-MSO structure, including management services agreements and clinical business decision boundaries
• Oversee HIPAA privacy and security programs, including risk assessments and workforce training
• Audit coding and billing practices to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Medicare requirements

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare compliance with a focus on Medicare Part B billing and coding
• Hands-on experience with a PC-MSO or similar physician-practice management structure
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA, the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark, and the False Claims Act
• Experience with revenue cycle operations, including claims, denials, and patient cost-sharing
