Head of Data Operations
Job Summary
Leading the Data Operations organization, the full-time Head of Data Operations will oversee multiple functional areas including Mapping, Labeling, and Triage Operations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality data critical for the Self Driving System, with options for remote work.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct the Data Operations organization, encompassing Mapping, Labeling, Triage, and future operational teams
- Partner with stakeholders to define and refine data ontologies, operator policies, and specifications
- Optimize workflows to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality data that meets complex customer needs
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of Operations Management or related experience in data-centric organizations
- Significant leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams in data annotation or mapping operations
- Expertise in managing globally distributed workforce vendors and BPO strategies
- Proven ability to architect and scale complex data-driven operational workflows
- Strong data analysis skills, with experience in organizational-level business metrics
