Head of Data Science

Job Summary

Leading a team of data scientists and analysts, the full-time Head of Data Science will develop predictive models, forecast population behavior, and establish methodologies for measuring impact in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop methods for identifying patients who may benefit from specialty care and validate models for patient engagement and treatment adherence
• Build population-level models to forecast therapy utilization and demand, applying statistical methods to estimate outcomes
• Partner across business functions to create a shared roadmap for data science initiatives and enhance operational reporting capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing statistical or machine learning methods that inform operational workflows and validate their performance
• Strong statistical foundations with experience in hierarchical or Bayesian modeling, forecasting, and causal inference
• Hands-on experience with large healthcare datasets, including claims or eligibility data
• Proven ability to collaborate with functional leaders to define performance metrics and deliver actionable insights
• Experience leading data scientists or analysts and maintaining close involvement in technical work
