Head of Design

Job Summary

Driving design strategy in a remote full-time capacity, the Head of Design will lead a talented team to enhance product experiences, establish design standards, and integrate AI-native practices to support clinicians effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Set and communicate a clear design vision grounded in clinical-first principles
• Build and shape a high-performing AI-native Design organization, enhancing collaboration across teams
• Raise the quality bar of the end-to-end user experience through comprehensive design practices

Required qualifications

• Significant experience leading product design in complex or regulated environments, preferably in healthcare or health technology
• Proven track record of building and scaling design organizations, including talent development
• Strong product judgment with the ability to connect design decisions to customer outcomes
• Deep fluency across the UX stack, including research, service design, and interaction design
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design rationale to diverse stakeholders
