Head of Engineering
Job Summary
To drive the development of an AI-powered logistics billing platform, the full-time Head of Engineering will lead engineering efforts, manage team growth, and oversee the architecture and integration of complex systems in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow the engineering function while balancing hands-on development with technical leadership
- Architect and own the core platform, including data ingestion, AI/ML validation layers, and scalable infrastructure
- Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to translate billing workflows into automated solutions
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in leadership roles
- Strong backend or full-stack development background with hands-on capabilities
- Proven experience in building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms with complex data integrations
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems
- Experience with AI/ML systems and familiarity with enterprise finance or billing systems is a plus
