Head of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the engineering organization, the full-time Head of Engineering will drive technical direction, oversee staffing and performance, and establish engineering standards while working remotely with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the engineering team, including hiring, performance evaluations, and setting technical standards across client accounts
• Establish and implement AI standards, workflows, and best practices while providing training and mentorship to engineers
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, providing architectural guidance and addressing quality concerns in software delivery

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing engineering across multiple client engagements or in-house organizations
• Strong technical skills, including code review and familiarity with AI technologies
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and engineers, including delivering critical feedback
• Experience in hiring and performance management of engineering staff
