Head of Engineering for M&A

Job Summary

The full-time Head of Engineering for M&A will build and embed value engineering capabilities across a growing portfolio of enterprise software companies, focusing on ROI modeling and presales excellence while collaborating closely with sales leaders and solution consulting teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and embed value engineering capability across the portfolio, ensuring customer value is articulated and tied to commercial outcomes
• Work directly within priority PortCos to implement effective value engineering practices and scale successful approaches
• Elevate presales standards by coaching teams on qualification, demo strategy, and improving overall execution quality

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise software presales or solution consulting with a track record of delivering complex, value-led opportunities
• Experience leading solution consulting or presales teams at a managerial level
• Proven ability to build or scale presales and/or value engineering capabilities
• Strong background in relevant industry verticals, with the ability to apply expertise across adjacent industries
• Active use of AI to enhance presales effectiveness and comfort in driving AI adoption within teams
