Head of Finance
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on strategic finance leader, the full-time Head of Finance will manage financial operations, oversee accounting processes, and drive strategic planning while working remotely and reporting directly to the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly close, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow while ensuring accurate financial statements and audit readiness
- Lead annual planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasts, maintaining scalable financial models and driving operational discipline
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team, providing data-driven recommendations and managing board and investor reporting
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience in high-growth B2B SaaS startups or scale-ups
- Hands-on accounting ownership, including experience with monthly closes and balance sheets, ideally through a controller role or Big 4 audit
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Experience partnering with GTM leaders on commercial economics and pricing strategies
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts and influence non-finance stakeholders
