Job Summary
Leading a global remote team, the full-time Head of Frontend Engineering will own the technical direction of frontend systems, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, performant software using Qwik and TypeScript.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the frontend engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence
- Own the technical vision and architecture for frontend products, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve tooling, components, and engineering practices for efficient delivery
Required qualifications
- Expert knowledge of Qwik, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, CSS/SASS, and GraphQL
- Strong experience in building complex, high-traffic frontend applications at scale
- Deep understanding of browser performance, rendering, and frontend optimization
- Experience leading frontend engineers while maintaining a hands-on technical role
- Background in iGaming or similar high-traffic real-time products is a significant advantage
