Head of Information Security

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise-wide information security program, the full-time Head of Information Security will manage security operations, execute cybersecurity strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own execution of the enterprise security strategy and oversee day-to-day security operations, including risk management and incident response
• Establish meaningful security metrics and monitor emerging threats to drive timely mitigation and enhance organizational resilience
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity risks and fostering a culture of security awareness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, and managing vendor partners
• Experience with SOX compliance and remediating ITGC control deficiencies
• Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
