Head of Production Test Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the production testing team, the full-time Head of Production Test Engineering will build a unified testing roadmap, oversee resource allocation, and coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure readiness for product launches and mass production in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a production testing roadmap for new products and mass production support
• Lead the engineering team, balancing urgent production issues with planned work and developing team capabilities
• Define testing strategies and oversee the development of test fixtures, equipment, and software

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electronics production testing and understanding of the full product lifecycle
• Strong technical foundation, including schematic reading, measurement equipment use, and troubleshooting
• Experience developing or implementing automated tests and production test fixtures, with Linux and Python skills
• Experience leading an engineering team and managing cross-team dependencies
• Proficiency in English for communication and technical documentation
