Job Summary
To oversee the risk and information security organizations across four business units, the full-time Head of Risk and Information Security will conduct risk assessments, manage a team of approximately 15, and collaborate with procurement and vendor management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments of people, processes, and technology across three business units within the first 90 days
- Directly manage the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Risk Management leaders
- Act as a client-facing leader, presenting to board members during quarterly risk and audit committee meetings
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in a leadership role within the fintech sector overseeing risk and information security
- Proven experience in risk management assessment across multiple business units
- Strong familiarity with regulatory agencies such as SEC and FINRA
- Client-facing experience with board-level interactions
- Deep expertise in operational risk and audit knowledge within the fintech space
