Head of Security Operations

Job Summary

Owning security operations and infrastructure reliability, the full-time Head of Security Operations will manage security across cloud, edge, and on-chain surfaces while working directly with the CTO in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Run security operations including detection engineering, incident response, and alert triage across various platforms
• Establish and enforce a zero trust access model, managing security posture and compliance programs
• Oversee infrastructure operations, ensuring reliable deployments and maintaining production health

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering and infrastructure, with at least 3 years leading a security program
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including security operations and incident response
• Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Experience designing and implementing zero trust access controls for production systems
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS
